Readers Of Golf World Vote Sea Trail As A Top Golf Resort In The
County
Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center, located in Sunset Beach, N.C., recently
received the rank of a Top 50 Golf Resort from Golf World magazine. The award
was announced October 15, 2008 and is based on reader's ballot results from over
21,000 golf course evaluations. Readers rated courses on 13 different performance
criteria, according to a Golf World announcement.
"To be ranked so highly by such a large number of readers is an honor and a privilege,"
said Tom Plankers, president of golf at Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center.
"This is the first-ever list of golf courses by Golf World, and it is truly
an honor to have Sea Trail viewed as the best by players across the nation. We have
great courses and amenities, and I hope readers who haven't played our courses
