FortiCel, a mold prevention technology, is a coating spray applied to the
surface of framing structures designed to repel growth of mold and mildew.
The product guarantees a minimum of 25 years protection, something paramount
to humid environments like coastal North Carolina.
"The entire southeastern United States, and most notably the coastal regions,
are climates more susceptible to mold growth over time," Turner Coleman, customer
service manager for Sun Builders, said. "Peace of mind is a 'top ten' concern for
the Baby Boomer generation, and we have built a product that positions itself to
answer that call."
Other forward-thinking features include a first-floor living suite that is built
to serve as a separate living area with its own full bath and mini kitchen. "The
