The Sea Trail Convention Center is the crown jewel centerpiece of our 40,000 square feet of meeting facilities and can accommodate a multitude of events, from small executive getaways to full-scale conferences, trade shows and national sales meetings of up to 1,100 guests. With fully tailored catering, over 300 suites and villas, and special relationships with top local meeting vendors, we ensure that every detail is perfect.

The Carolina Ballroom is the largest single room of the Convention Center with over 10,000 square feet of flexible floor space. You will also find two well-appointed executive boardrooms, The Helen Pope Boardroom and The Myra Thompson Boardroom, with video conferencing capabilities, fine oak boardroom tables and high-backed, leather chairs.
The Egret, Osprey, Heron, and Ibis rooms can be combined or divided to suit your needs for larger or more intimate breakout sessions. The Carolina Promenade and the Gallery make perfect areas for vendor displays, social gatherings, and more.
The outdoor Piazza behind the Convention Center overlooks the 18th holes of the Rees Jones Course and the Willard Byrd Course, as well as the lush Paul D. Dennis Gardens and Gazebo.
The Sunset Room at the Village Activity Center opens out to an adjoining porch and deck overlooking the swimming pool, offering a great space for smaller groups and more casual events. With indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, a fitness center and saunas, the Village Activity Center is the perfect place to unwind after the day’s meetings and events have ended.
The Jones/Byrd Clubhouse has three meeting salons adjacent to Magnolia's Restaurant. Each of these salons can be combined into a ballroom as large as 4,500 square feet, left individually as small as 1,000 square feet, or several options in between. Through the plantation-shuttered windows of the salons, event attendees overlook the 18th hole of the Rees Jones Course.
The three salons in the Jones/Byrd Clubhouse open out to a 5,000 square foot patio with wood chairs and tables with umbrellas. This outdoor setting is perfect for social gatherings, cookouts, or cocktail parties.
The Gardens at Sea Trail
We offer multiple outdoor settings for any occasion. The Paul D. Dennis Gardens, located between the Sea Trail Convention Center and the 18th hole of the Willard Byrd Course, is the premier location for weddings at Sea Trail.
The Gardens are a beautiful setting of plants, seasonal flowers, a slate rimmed pond and paths with a quaint gazebo as a centerpiece, small wooden walking bridge, and several wooden benches. The lush backdrop of Carolina pine trees and the golf greens set a wonderful tone for your precious day or special event.
