    Resort Conference/Convention Sales Manager

             

    Job Description:

                 The Sales Manager must identify and qualify multiple markets of high room demand generators. Must understand the product; get to know the competition and how it affects assigned market segments. Develop action plan and effective strategies with Director of Sales to meet or exceed goals.

     Skills:

    • Must possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, sell and   influence key professionals of groups or accounts.
    • Solicit group business by making outside sales calls, phone solicitations, direct mail or email communication on a monthly basis as instructed by Director of Sales.
    • Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community and related hospitality organizations.  (i.e. Chamber of Commerce Events, AENC and NC-SGMP).
    • Generate and maintain account files on a timely trace system to ensure maintenance of accurate and updated account files.
    • Record account calls or communications in Delphi activities in accurate and timely manner.
    • Demonstrate ability to interact with all departments for the special needs and requirements to ensure a smooth and efficient stay for all guest/groups.
    • Verify room blocks by group bookings, including but not limited to changes and cancellations.
    • Complete all paperwork, group proposals, contracts and final group details in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Attend seminars, meetings and tradeshows as instructed by Director of Sales.
    • Promote the company’s objective and mission statement to enhance public recognition of company’s operations.
    • Perform all other duties or tasks deemed necessary by Director of Sales.

     Requirements:

    Minimum 4 yr college degree or five years hospitality sales experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.

    • Knowledge Office and Excel.
    • Knowledge of Delphi helpful.
    • Ability to make decisions, exercise common sense and use authority effectively.
    • Strong working knowledge of housekeeping, food and beverage and hotel accounting as well as verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Housekeeping Villa Attendant - Piece Rate

    HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT

    Villa Attendants

     

    Excellent potential for income - earn income based on number of successfully cleaned units  Potential of $12-$15 hour and up based on production!

    Position Purpose:

    The primary responsibilities of a Villa Attendant are to thoroughly clean, restock, and organize all assigned guest villas.

    Skills:

    • Must be very organized with the ability to work efficiently and demonstrate excellent cleaning skills.

    • Ability to follow direction, policies, and procedures.

    • Must always express a pleasant, polite, and professional attitude when in contact with guests, supervisors, and co-workers.

    Duties:

    • Responsible for cleaning assigned rooms to meet standards

    • Follow room cleaning checklists listing the required duties

    • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, making beds, disinfecting and deodorizing kitchens and bathrooms, removing trash, cleaning floors, operating dishwashers, cleaning exterior porches and entranceways, etc.

    • Ensure rooms are stocked with standard guest amenities as set forth for each room

    • Perform all other duties required to clean units to Sea Trail Resort's specifications.

    • Report any unit condition deficiencies immediately to supervisor

    • Inform Villa Supervisor of any changes in unit status and upon completion of cleaning unit.

    • Return all lost and found articles to Housekeeping Department

    • Required to follow all safety rules and policies at all times.

    • Any other duties required by management

    Requirements:

    • Must always report to work in clean uniforms and present a professional appearance.

    • Ability to read and write is required to complete forms.

    • Ability to work in various climates with hot and cold temperatures.

    • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

    • Must have knowledge and ability to use all household appliances.

    • Must be physically able to walk up/down stairs.

    • Must provide own transportation

    • Ability to lift or carry up to 25 to 50 pounds.
