  • Banquet Servers

    The Banquet Server is to provide excellent customer service and ensure 100% customer satisfaction with a positive service experience.  Responsible for set up, quality service and clean up of appropriate service items for banquet style functions and meal services at those functions according to Sea Trail Resort standards, safety and sanitation policies.

     

    Reports To:  Banquet Assistant Manager/Director of Catering/F&B Director

     Skills:

    Duties:

    •  Assist in preparing banquet room for the function as required.
    • Displaying excellent customer service and well-groomed, neat appearance.
    • Wipe and polish silverware.
    • Properly set tables and related furniture for special functions.
    • Serve meals and beverage by course and remove dishes when appropriate in accordance with standard serving and clearing protocol.
    • Set up, deliver and retrieve breaks.
    • Performs opening and closing side work as needed.
    • Maintain supplies as needed.
    • Cleans all areas that were used for special function upon completion as necessary.
    • Performs all job duties in a safe manner and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

     

    Requirements:

    •  Ability to carry 6 – 8 meals on a tray at any given time.
    • Minimum of 1½ to 2 years banquet experience preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to understand and follow direction from the Banquet Captain.
    • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

    Job Description:

    As an Assistant Irrigation Specialist, you are responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation system(s). You are required to report any irregularities in course turf quality to the superintendent or assistant superintendent. Furthermore, you are responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation system.

      

    Skills:

    • Care and maintain greens through scheduled irrigation schedules
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation problems and resolve them in a timely manner

    Duties:

    • Responsible for performing regularly scheduled irrigation inspections making necessary repairs at the job site.

    Job Description : The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with company standards following all safety and sanitary procedures.  A Line Cook must coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy.  To produce all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications, recipes and techniques of the company.  

    Reports To: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

It is imperative to present a clean and professional appearance; always-in uniform or dress code provided by the restaurant.  Must be flexible and open to varying work hours due to shift changes, resort functions and holidays.  As bartender, controls all areas of the bar. Prepares alcoholic drinks ordered from servers. Prepares beverages for guests sitting at the bar and places their food orders. Should have a good personality with excellent communication skills.  Maintain a neat, clean, orderly and sanitary work area.

    Duties:

    • Set dining room tables according to the requirements needed for each day

    Golf Course Assistant Superintendent

     Job Description:

    Under the supervision of the Superintendent and Director of Golf Operations, Assistant Superintendent performs supervisory and maintenance work necessary for the grounds keeping of all Resort golf courses.  This work involves initiation, direction and performance of tasks relating to golf course grounds maintenance with other work related duties as required.

     Reports To:  Department Head/Director of Golf Operations

     Skills: 

    • Knowledge of the standard methods, practices, materials and equipment used in the care and maintenance of golf courses
    • Knowledge of occupational hazards involved and safety precautions necessary in equipment operation and chemicals
    • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out golf course maintenance tasks
    • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with employees
    • Excellent written and oral communication with ability to maintain accurate records and reports

     Duties: 

    • Performs ground maintenance duties for assigned golf course
    • Demonstrates good leadership skills with ability to give directions to crewmembers and ensure tasks are performed correctly and completed
    • Ability to operate various equipment including mowers, hand tools, trucks tractors, aerators, fertilizers and pesticide application equipment
    • Assists in employee selections, trainings, disciplining, and performance evaluation
    • Enforces all safety and hazards standards and regulations by instructing crewmembers in the correct work methods and operation of equipment
    • Assist in developing schedules and maintenance duties; inspects and evaluates work progress
    • Performs ground maintenance duties to maintain golf greens/turf. Knowledge of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and other pesticides and instructs and directs subordinates in their use
    • Operates various equipment including mowers, hand tools, tractors, aerators, fertilizer and pesticide application equipment
      Follows and ensures pesticide applications are in accordance with state and county ordinances
    • Daily maintenance checks of greens and irrigation equipment
    • Enforce rules, regulations, and policies established by the Resort as they presently exist or as they may hereafter be modified or amended and develop a policy of reporting such violations by golfers, employees, members, and guests
    • Supervises the work of other crewmembers engaged in golf course maintenance activities and tasks
    • Any other duties as may be required by management

    Requirements: 

    • Must have the ability to assist or assume all the responsibilities of the Superintendent as required
    • Must have valid NC Pesticide Applicators License
    • Must have the ability to work in various climates and temperatures
    • Excellent written and communication skills

     Job Description:

     

    In addition to being a wait staff member, assists in the training of the dining room wait staff and supervises staff during daily operation.  Maintains a neat and orderly working environment, communicate and coordinate activities between the kitchen and dining room to ensure appropriate and efficient service.

    Front Desk/Reservations Agents - Full and Part Time

    Job Description:

                The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when staying at the Sea Trail Resort. This person is also responsible for responding to guest calls or inquiries about room reservations to provide information and reserve rooms for guests coming to the resort. The Front Desk/Reservations Agent will continue the arrival experience by ensuring clear communication with guests, obtaining all necessary information and providing the guest a room that meets their expectations. Agents will be well versed in promotions, events, pricing and sales strategy to meet the guest’s request.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests and questions.
    • Explain resort products, service and other information about the resort as requested.
    • Sell, process, enter and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies.
    • Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities, hours of operation as well as dining options currently available.
    • Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures.
    • Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to the rooms, while up-selling when appropriate.
    • Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit card information.
    • Assist guests with issues and inquiries, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction. Use supervisor support when necessary.
    • Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with appropriate greeting.
    • Create maintenance work orders and process appropriately.
    • Maintain accurate logs of mail, packages, parcels or other items for guest delivery.
    • Maintain accurate logs for work orders, housekeeping requests and guest satisfaction.
    • Accurate accounting of cash bank assigned to each agent.
    • Post charges to guest accounts as designated.
    • Facilitate guest departures providing accurate statements and ensuring guest satisfaction and collecting all payments due.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     Job Qualifications:

     Education:

     High school diploma or equivalent.

     Experience:

    • Previous guest service and reservations experience preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
    • Positive interpersonal skills required.
    • Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
    • Excellent computer and typing skills are required. Excel and Word proficiency desired.
    • Previous call-center experience preferred.
    • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required.

     Discretion / Independent Judgment

    This position does represent the company in handling inquiries, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances. As a Front Desk/Reservations Agent, you will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure satisfaction. A Front Desk Agent/Reservations Agent will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
